The NASA Distinguished Public Service Medal is awarded to individuals whose meritorious contributions produced results which measurably improved, expedited or clarified administrative procedures, scientific progress, work methods, manufacturing techniques, personnel practices, public information services and other efforts related to the accomplishment of the mission of NASA.
